Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about Melyara and how we care for your communication.
An AI mediator for difficult conversations between two specific people. Each side writes in private, Melyara turns reproach into a need that can actually be heard, and the conversation ends in a small, revisable micro-agreement. It does not decide who is right.
You write privately what you feel. Melyara reformulates it and you approve the version that gets shared: your original text never reaches the other person. They receive that version along with a guide for reading it, reply in turn, and after a few turns a shared reflection appears with a proposed next step.
Content is encrypted in your browser before it is stored, so the database only holds unreadable characters. But we are not "zero knowledge": to reformulate your text it has to be decrypted and sent to OpenAI, our AI provider, and we keep an encrypted copy of the conversation key so it can be recovered if you lose the link. We ask for your consent before the first submission.
Pay, never. Taking part as an invited person is always free and uses none of their own quota. An account is needed, because without identity we could not offer them reporting or blocking if the conversation goes wrong.
20 guided pauses per month instead of 1, and unlimited difficult messages. Nothing else: we would rather not sell features that do not exist yet.
Then Melyara is not the right place. Mediation can increase the risk instead of reducing it. Inside the tool we show you support resources for your country, and you can leave at any point without explaining yourself.
